Our Fellows developed six new workshops strenghtening young people's digital participation and their media competences. They are designed for peer-to-peer education and follow a low-threshold, inclusive and diversity-oriented approach.

On 23.11.2021, our Digital Europe Fellows, together with Ajša Hadžibegović and Damian Boeselager (MEP), will be discussing online youth activism and will question the assumption of the internet as a great equalizer. Register now online & via email.

This years’ Summer School was a hybrid meeting taking place in Duisburg, Germany. The program included trainings on educational approaches, an introduction of new workshops, an Anti-Racism training and a discussion of “Critical Youth Citizenship”.

In June, civil society organisations across Europe asked the Conference to ensure the inclusion of marginalised communities. As their answer did not indicate any concrete measures, we have now issued another appeal!

From August 16 - 19, Coordinators of Understanding Europe met again in person after almost two years of only digital meetings. As not all of them could join us on site, we connected with them via a new hybrid setting.
