Eighth transnational Training for Trainers

The eighth Transnational Training for Trainers (TT4T) took place from October 17 to 19, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye. Trainers from across Europe came together for three days of learning, exchange, and shared reflection in a vibrant setting.

About the program

The TT4T in Istanbul offered participants an engaging and diverse programme focusing on diversity, fundamental rights, solidarity, and community power in both offline and digital environments.

On Friday, the programme started at the Florya Campus with a welcome and introduction session by the organizers. Participants then had the opportunity to get to know each other and build a strong group dynamic during teambuilding. In the afternoon, a diversity module set the stage for deeper discussions, followed by a workshop on understanding fundamental rights and challenging far-right narratives.

The second day continued at the Florya Campus with interactive workshops on solidarity, linking personal values to European realities, and on digital citizenship, mapping human rights in the digital environment. In the afternoon, during a module by external expert Selin Yildiz, participants explored claiming and practicing rights through community power, using the QLUB example as a practical case. The day ended with an open-space format, allowing participants to actively contribute their perspectives and experiences.

On Sunday, participants received valuable input from a representative from the independent media outlet Fayn, creating space for discussion on independent journalism and media landscapes. The programme then moved to the Istanbul city centre. Participants got to test their knowledge of the city with a dynamic activity on “Fun Facts about Istanbul”, followed by a boat tour offering a different perspective on the city. After an evaluation and feedback round, the TT4T in Istanbul concluded successfully, and participants departed in the early afternoon.
