Apply now: Fellowship 2025
Our 2025 fellowship supports young Europeans in the development of new workshops on topics related to Transnational Solidarity and Resilience amidst multiple crises, Fundamental Rights, and Security.
This year, four Fellows from our network will rework our courses on the following topics: Europe, Participation, Social & Climate Justice. Based on a needs analysis, they will bring in new perspectives, examples, methods and inclusive approaches.
This year’s fellowship is targeted at young educators who are part of the Understanding Europe network. Unlike in the past three years, it is not available for external persons. This is due to the reason that the objectives of the programme have shifted: with all the new workshops that have been created throughout the last years, the goal is now to fully integrated these new workshops into the educational work of our network.
Having identified that it was difficult for our trainers to navigate through all the new materials and to implement them in schools, we are looking for network members who are interested to rework our courses. Making them more inclusive and developing them in a way that trainers really use them, each of the four Fellows would be concerned with one of the following topic: Europe, Participation, Social Justice and/or Climate Justice.
For the Fellows, the programme offers a distinct opportunity to professionalise in the area of diversity-oriented non-formal education and format development and to contribute to the success of our course offer for schools. They receive financial support of €450 per month for a funding period of half a year as well as pedagogical counselling.
If you are a member of our network, please apply until January 29, 2023, using the online form and attaching the repective documents. If you have any questions or need more information about the program, please feel free to contact our project manager Ane Cenecorta.
