Educational Briefing 2020
In 2020, our annual publication takes a look at diversity-sensitive educational processes from different perspectives. Contributors are Prof. Dr. Karim Fereidooni, Prof. Dr. Claudia Lenz and Maja Bogojević.
Our publications discuss terms and concepts relevant to our work. Many of them are developed in cooperation with external education experts in order to incorporate new perspectives and ideas into the project.
OUR LAST PUBLICATION IS OUT!
„Empowering Youth, Building Resilience: A New Era for Media Education“ explores how youth-led, rights-based, and inclusive critical media education can empower young people to actively participate in and shape Europe’s digital public sphere.
Bringing together perspectives on peer-led learning, media resilience, and accessible journalism, it highlights how young people can build not only technical media skills but also critical thinking and democratic competences.
Through concrete educational approaches and network experiences, the publication shows how trust, shared experience, and inclusion strengthen meaningful engagement with media. It argues for moving beyond a protectionist view of media literacy toward one that centers youth agency, participation, and social responsibility. Ultimately, the publication invites readers to see media education as a transformative force for more resilient, inclusive, and democratic digital societies.
