As part of Citizens Take Over Europe, we organised several participation formats for young people in 2021 and 2022, the Assemblies of Solidarity. They have resulted in two declarations on European environmental and social policies.

For the first time, our transnational training in Armenia gave Trainers the opportunity to travel and attend a workshop outside their country, getting to know people from across the network.

Our new workshop series was kicked-off with a three-day event in Brussels. Five participants from our network met in the EU’s capital to learn more about different ways of playing an active role in society: through activism, street art, and politics.

With a kick-off weekend in Berlin, the fellowship “Thinking of Europe” was launched early this month. The agenda included a visit to the Humboldt Forum, team-building and content-related formats and a workshop with Reporters without Borders.

This year, we award six fellowships to young educators motivated to develop new workshops on social justice, the climate crisis or digitalisation in Europe. Applications are open until January 31!

This year's publication is entitled “Going digital together: pathways to inclusive citizenship education online”. Next to contributions from education experts, network members report on their experiences with digital peer education.
