Educational Briefing 2024
In this year’s Educational Briefing we explore the concept of a European culture of remembering, highlighting the role of memory in shaping collective identity.
For the fifth time, trainers from the network have gathered together for the Spring TT4T! This time we had a joined event with the Media Academy of the European Youth Parliament, in Berlin, from the 14th to the 17nd of March.
Media and Media Literacy have been an important topic for the Network but they become even more relevant when it comes to the European Elections! During this training participants had a great opportunity to learn more about the details on how the European Parliament is elected and reflect on how media can help to promote youth engagement.
The TT4T x Media Academy offered participants a dynamic and enriching learning experience, focusing on critical topics such as the upcoming European elections in 2024, media literacy, and strategies to combat fake news and hate speech. The programme provided ample time for attendees to work on their own media projects, fostering both personal and professional growth.
Peer Educators Levon Shoyan and Georgiana Olteanu led interactive modules that deepened participants‘ understanding of the European Parliament’s dynamics while equipping them with essential skills in media content creation and communication.
This event, held in cooperation with the European Youth Parliament, represented a valuable opportunity for collaboration between project lines, enhancing the impact and reach of the programme.
