Covid-19

Regular updates on Understanding Europe's measures & policy

Almost all of our on-site activities were suspended at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. Two years later, the return to a normal educational environment is repeatedly interrupted by classes not taking place at all or under extensive restrictions.

Although Understanding Europe has been able to offer some face-to-face courses over the past two years, depending on temporary national regulations, our team and network have developed digital courses in order to provide an educational offering even in times of the pandemic.

According to current state, in June 2022, this means:

  • Workshops in schools as well as in extracurricular educational institutions and projects are taking place digitally and/or in person, depending on the current regulations in the respective countries.
  • Activities in the network are taking place on site, digitally or in a hybrid setting. Please contact the responsible person should you have any questions.

As an educational project, which at its very core consists of personal and close interaction and shared experiences, we want to offer our formats on site again as soon as possible. However, we also feel it is our duty to deal responsibly with the current situation and to protect our Peers and students as best as we can.

We will keep you informed about changes here and on @understanding_europe!
